Several Sheriff's in Missouri have released information that they will not allow the FBI to conduct an audit of their Carry and Conceal files. I have NOT received a request from the FBI to audit these files. I will NOT be providing any access to that information to the FBI or any other entity if request. These files are specifically protected by Missouri Law under Section 571.101.9(2).
I will continue to uphold and defend the rights of the Pulaski County Citizens

Dear Sheriff Jimmy Bench ,
Attached is the summary of the vehicle stops data your agency submitted to our office as required by Section 590.650, RSMo. This information will be included in a report submitted to the Governor and the General Assembly by June 1, 2022. The entire report will be available on our website at www.ago.mo.gov on June 1.
Every agency’s jurisdiction and community is unique and understanding the dynamics that make them unique provides important context for the Vehicle Stops Report. If there are policies or community dynamics that might skew the results of your Vehicle Stops Report or provide a reader a more comprehensive understanding of them, please articulate them in an email to vsr@ago.mo.gov.
The responding comments your agency wishes to provide should be divided into two distinct forums. The first would be the formalized “Agency Response” Comment, which will be published with the Vehicle Stops Report itself and is available for the public after June 1, 2022. One example of a comment of this nature might be a large number of drivers from outside your jurisdiction passing through on a regular basis. Another might be an agency policy that leads to more traffic stops. Your response will allow us to present necessary context for your agency’s results in the final report. Comments that your agency wishes to be published with the report should be clearly stated as being the public “Agency Response” Comment. Please limit your formal “Agency Response” to 250 words if possible. The second type of comments that your agency may provide would be those that are in a more informal forum. This would be where any pre-publication adjustments that need to be made to your report can be addressed. These types of comments are not published with the report but will simply be used by our office to address accidental errors that affect the accuracy of your report.
To be included in the report, your response must be received by our office by the close of business Friday, May 6, 2022. Please email your response to vsr@ago.mo.gov to ensure we receive it promptly.
